Responsibilities and Key Outcomes You will be responsible for all communication topics of the Digitalization of R&D and Data Science (GDB) team within Global Digital Services, the Digitalization Division (GDS) of BASF: Prepare topics for internal and external target groups in close cooperation with GDB experts, including activities such as researching and writing texts, as well as coordinating with external service providers Design and implement events for various GDB communities (such as R&D and Data & AI) Plan and implement communications activities and editorial plans in close coordination with GDB management and Communications CoP leadership Advise on corporate design and branding issues and assist with key tasks in the GDS Communications CoP Support overarching GDS communications through active participation in the GDS Communications CoP, and take ownership of GDS overarching communications topics Manage and evaluate performance reviews and keep an eye on budget planning and control. Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, linguistics, economics or similar Work Experience Minimum 6 years’ working experience in business communications, public relations, journalism or similar field Exposure to corporate PR and editorial work, with practical knowledge of communication formats such as podcasts, film/video and social media Team-oriented, possesses an Agile mindset and familiar with Agile ways of work Technical and Professional Knowledge (mandatory) Able to strategize, conceptualize and implement communications campaigns for a wide range of mediums and formats Superior command of English, with a well-developed style in spoken and written communications Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills Familiarity with Agile tools and concepts such as OKRs, Kanban and Design Thinking Able to use a variety of video and image editing tools Confident in handling applications within the Microsoft Office suite Has entrepreneurial drive combined with a high level of innovation and customer focus Have an organized, structured and service-oriented approach Additional skills (nice to have) Good command of German language (written and spoken) Experience with Wordpress in an administrative capacity Familiarity with Webtrends, PowerBI and PowerApps Join the best team with more than 110,000 other minds to connect with globally.
