WELCOME TO BASF In addition to its own products, BASF Española S.L. markets more than 5,000 products from the BASF Group: chemical, organic and inorganic products, catalysts; phytosanitary products, plastic materials, dispersions and raw materials for the inks, paints, plastics, paper, ceramics and cosmetics industry. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT From our Tarragona Multi-OD site, the selected person will be responsible for the following activities in the areas of Site & Production Controlling: Further develop and create new BI solutions and dashboards that facilitate the analysis and evaluation of the performance of the site and its service/infrastructure units (e.g., Site Tarragona Report, Service Profitability Analysis, Energy Monitor). Actively engage in the BI community on-site to promote relevant topics and initiatives. Act as the key contact for Site Controlling-related topics for Headquarters. Perform monthly analysis of costs, service profitability, CAPEX, and FTE development of the various service units on site. Oversee the forecasting and annual operational planning process. Actively participate in various projects on site, such as Service Management Excellence. Serve as the primary liaison for Production Controlling-related topics for OD/RBU Controlling as well as the local production cluster management team. Conduct monthly analysis and follow-up of production cost development; present findings to the Cluster management team. Lead the annual forecasting and operational planning process. Analyze and adjust pre-determined calculations as necessary. Participate in relevant projects, including cost calculations for new products. WHAT YOU OFFER University Degree in Business Administration, Controlling, Business Analytics, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Finance, Controlling, or Business Reporting Units. General understanding of Product Costing and Cost Center Accounting. Excellent knowledge of SAP CO-PC, proficient in PC skills and MS Office programs. Will be highly valued strong expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI and experience in the development and implementation of BI reporting solutions. Advanced in English, both orally and in writing. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Excellent communication skills with a strong interest in collaborative achievement.
