About this role
Area: EHS | Safety Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in IT; Science; or Equivalent field. • 5-8 years’ experience IT or related field • Ability to write requirements and technical specification documents. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Applications, such as Excel; Access; Share Point • Experience supporting in house and vendor software system applications. • Experience in data management, analysis, and reporting • Experience in systems design; development; and database concepts • Experience consolidating data from various data sources/structure. • Experience with SQL Query Language • Knowledge of SAP systems and functionality • Knowledge of project management concepts • Knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) information a plus . Responsibilities: • Guidance from Manager associated with consultations, discussions, and direction. • Assess requirements/needs to propose solutions consistent with Manager direction. • Evaluate user requirements for system improvements and solutions. Improve existing system application functionality. • Identify and implement technical solutions for continuous improvement and efficiency. • Automate routine systems/data tasks with VBA scripting, and other technical solutions using IT programming resources. • Execute data extraction, reporting, analysis, and workflow tasks daily. • Establish KPI reports utilizing data from multiple data sources. • Coordinate system application changes with IT department • Writing requirements definition and technical specification documents • Create user documentation and conduct training sessions. • Contribute to EHS systems strategy. • Data administration • Change request management. • System functionality support and open issues management • Support systems responsibilities on project teams • Project management and coordination • Ability to identify areas of improvement and take initiative. • Independent and self-starting capabilities and ability to understand and support.
