Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent Shine With Colors & Effects! Do You Have What It Takes? Required BS in electrical, chemical, or mechanical engineering. Minimum 5+ years project engineering or related experience within a chemical plant environment. Working knowledge of capital project implementation process from initial realization of the project through to commissioning and startup in the field. Direct experience in communicating with technical professionals and managing tradespersons & contractors. Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills are required. Strong technical skills to help learn/apply troubleshooting problems in the different manufacturing areas to optimize plant performance. Well-developed and practical knowledge of occupational and process safety requirements (LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, PPE, etc) Demonstrated agility in the following competencies: Teamwork, Customer Focus, Collaboration, Entrepreneurial Action, Strategic Thinking, Business and Financial.
