The Project Terra Verde is a joint venture between Webuild, GS Engineering & Construction (E&C) Australia, and Bouygues Construction Australia. The joint venture combines experienced local personnel with global resources and expertise. Terra Verde is delivering nearly 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between Glen Waverley and Box Hill, including 39 cross passages and two station boxes at Glen Waverley and Burwood in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, as part of the Suburban Rail Loop Project. About the Role The Graduate will support engineering and construction activities while progressively developing technical and project management skills. This role offers exposure to both on-site and office-based work across the Terra Verde project, providing hands-on experience in project planning, execution, and reporting. It is designed to build a strong foundation for a long-term career in the infrastructure and construction sector. Key Responsibilities Deliver assigned tasks in line with project requirements, ensuring quality, safety, and environmental standards are met. Support the design and approval process for temporary works. Perform data analysis and routine engineering tasks; assist in complex technical assignments. Review and interpret design plans, contributing to constructability reviews and the implementation of final designs. Assist in the procurement of materials and services in accordance with project and environmental specifications. Identify, report, and support the resolution of non-conformances. Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a high level of site visibility. Promote and participate in risk management activities, supporting a proactive safety culture. Ensure compliance with all legislative, commercial, and contractual obligations. Encourage open communication, contribute to feedback processes, and support continuous improvement. Perform all duties in accordance with Terra Verde policies, systems, and procedures. Qualifications & Experience Tertiary qualification in Engineering Construction White Card Prior experience on large-scale infrastructure projects within Australia is desirable but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proactive, self-driven attitude with a willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
