We are seeking a highly motivated Product/Program Manager to join our ARROW and Lawrence Hardware team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for driving product growth, profitability, and strategic business initiatives across the organization. You will lead products throughout their lifecycle, from development and launch through portfolio optimization and market expansion. Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Business Development, you will help bring customer-focused solutions to market and support long-term business growth. This position will be situated on-site in New Haven, CT, or Berlin, CT, full-time reporting to the Director of ARROW & Lawrence Hardware. What you will be doing Developing and executing portfolio strategies that drive growth, profitability, and market share for the ARROW and Lawrence Hardware product portfolios. Evaluating market trends, customer needs, competitive offerings, and Voice of Customer insights to identify opportunities for new products, product enhancements, and portfolio optimization. Managing the full product lifecycle, including business case development, product launches, portfolio performance monitoring, and end-of-life planning. Defining product requirements and collaborating with Engineering and cross-functional teams to develop customer-focused solutions that support business objectives. Leading strategic business initiatives and new product development programs while managing project plans, schedules, milestones, risks, and successful implementation. Partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams to support forecasting, commercialization plans, pricing strategies, product positioning, promotional activities, and market introductions. Monitoring key performance metrics, product financials, and portfolio performance while ensuring product information, certifications, compliance requirements, and business system data remain accurate and up to date. Serving as a key interface between customers, commercial teams, and product development functions while supporting customer presentations, training events, trade shows, leadership updates, and other duties assigned. What we are looking for Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ more years of experience in Product Management, Program Management, Project Management, or a related business leadership role. Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects, strategic initiatives, and new product launches. Strong analytical, financial, problem-solving, and business acumen. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple functions and levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP/MRP systems, product data management tools, project collaboration platforms, and product financial analysis and reporting. Up to 20% travel is required, including customer visits, trade shows, and occasional international travel. A valid passport is required or the ability to obtain one. Preferred Skills Experience in commercial building products, hardware, security products, or related industries. Familiarity with structured product development processes and stage-gate methodologies. Experience working with ERP/MRP systems, preferably JD Edwards. Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello. Knowledge of wholesale distribution channels and commercial construction markets.
