Purpose Statement Provide subject matter expertise, technical leadership and commercial insight in the development, maintenance and enhancement of profitability models across products, transactions, channels and business activities. Translate complex financial and operational data into meaningful profitability insights that support strategic decision-making, pricing, investment evaluation, business case development and business performance optimisation. Partner with Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders to understand key profit drivers, identify value creation opportunities and enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation. Provide oversight, guidance and mentorship within the profitability function while driving continuous improvement in modelling methodologies, cost allocation frameworks and analytical capabilities. Experience 2 - 4 years’ experience in analytical roles that included exposure to activity-based costing and project appraisal, leading projects and engaging with senior management Proven experience in building activity-based cost models and constructing business cases Experience analysing large and complex datasets to generate business and financial insights. Experience supporting business decision-making through financial modelling, profitability analysis and commercial recommendations. Experience engaging with multiple stakeholders and presenting findings to management. Qualifications (Minimum) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Mathematical Sciences Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Mathematical Sciences Knowledge Activity-based costing methodologies. Profitability modelling and analysis. Forecasting and budgeting principles. Financial mathematics. Capital cost calculations. Financial modelling and business case development. Cost allocation methodologies. Product, channel and transaction economics. Performance measurement and management reporting.
