Quality, Sanitation and Pest Control Manager - Montreal Position Purpose The primary responsibility of the Quality Control & Lab Manager is to find opportunities for quality and/or productivity improvements. This position is a point of contact between quality, production and engineering. Responsibilities and Duties Monitor and analyze production and laboratory data to identify trends; Manage out-of-specification products, customer complaints, and root cause analyses; Monitor the calibration and adjustment of detectors and measuring instruments; Supervise the external cleaning team; Manage pest control activities; Always prioritize personal safety and the safety of employees; Prepare monthly reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs); Optimize and standardize machine settings and operating parameters; Lead quality improvement projects and reject reduction initiatives; Maintain selected standards/specifications and related documentation up to date; Develop and deliver training to colleagues and employees. Required qualifications 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment; 3 years of quality management experience; 2 years of employee supervision experience; College diploma or university degree; Good knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and OneNote; Knowledge of Power BI and VBA is considered an asset; Knowledge of ISO 9001 (an asset). Skills, competencies and languages Strong communication skills; Strong observation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities; Good organizational and work planning skills; Ability to learn and master new knowledge and software applications; Team-oriented with a proactive and initiative-driven mindset; Proficiency in written and spoken French and English; Spanish is considered an asset.
