Learn more: jti.com Role: Temporary Location: Danville, VA Reporting to: People & Culture Business Partner People & Culture Associate Join our People & Culture team and play an active part in creating a positive employee experience. You’ll support key activities across recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, employee communications and employee relations, working with employees, candidates, managers and partners across the business. Position: As the People & Culture Associate , you will: Support recruitment for blue-collar positions , from creating job postings and sourcing candidates to initial screening, interview coordination, candidate communication and employment documentation. Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities , helping new hires receive the information, documentation and support they need throughout their transition into or out of the organization. Support learning and development initiatives , including training coordination, development-plan tracking and collaboration with employees, managers, external trainers and subject-matter experts. Contribute to People & Culture communications and administration , including employee updates, employee records, vendor administration and collaboration with relevant internal teams. Provide support to seasonal employees , responding to day-to-day employment queries and coordinating employee relations processes in accordance with relevant company and legal standards. Support additional People & Culture initiatives and projects based on evolving business needs. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or an equivalent field ; a professional qualification is an advantage. Recent graduate or early-career professional , with initial experience or an internship in recruitment, learning & development, HR, or a related field. Fluent English and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders. Strong organization and attention to detail , with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Good analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
