Job Title: Supply Chain SpecialistJob DescriptionThe Supply Chain Specialist provides dedicated customer support to internal and external stakeholders by executing departmental objectives and tactical plans that support corporate business growth. This role proactively addresses service issues and customer concerns, ensuring that customer orders are shipped on time and in full while maintaining a high standard of service excellence. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to manage orders, resolve issues, and continuously improve supply chain performance.Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders in a timely and accurate manner for the assigned region, communicating directly with buyers to ensure alignment on order requirements. • Perform daily audits of open orders, including researching outstanding orders from previous days and rescheduling them as needed to meet service expectations. • Review all orders for completeness and accuracy, obtaining necessary information and approvals prior to releasing orders for shipment, such as resolving pricing discrepancies and securing approval to ship close-dated cases. • Schedule dock appointments for customer pick-up (CPU) orders and maintain these appointments within the designated scheduling application. • Oversee delivered orders in coordination with the in-house Transportation Department to ensure effective and efficient delivery execution. • Collaborate with the Customer Experience Manager, Production Planner, Demand Planner, Warehouse Manager, and Materials Manager to ensure promotional, new distribution center, and new store product requirements are clearly communicated and understood. • Determine when product substitutions or delivery date changes are required for order fulfillment based on projected inventory shortages, and communicate these changes appropriately. • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting sales personnel in identifying customer order practices that are inconsistent with established service level agreements. • Review aged inventory and discontinued items at company-owned bottling operations and co-packer locations to support inventory management and reduction initiatives. • Maintain and update requirements in customer vendor management systems, including monitoring inventory levels and planning orders to determine when expediting decisions are necessary. • Review SAP transaction codes (T-Codes) for pricing discrepancies and follow established standard operating procedures to resolve issues. • Partner with management and SMOs on IDOC reports to correct EDI errors, update customer files with new items, and communicate data revisions to the Customer Experience Manager. • Provide support to Accounts Receivable with invoice management to resolve short payments, overpayments, and claims, and communicate issues, root causes, and resolutions to internal and external customers in a timely manner. • Manage returns, damage claims, and complaints by identifying causes, communicating resolutions to affected business partners, assigning action items to appropriate personnel, and ensuring necessary approvals are obtained. • Ensure accuracy and completeness of root cause data used in Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators to support performance tracking and improvement. • Participate in team initiatives focused on continuous improvement of processes, systems, and customer service within the supply chain function. • Engage in frequent daily communication with customers, internal sales teams, and internal production teams via email, phone, and collaboration tools to coordinate orders and resolve issues. • Perform data entry related to purchase orders, inventory, and order management in SAP, Excel, and customer vendor systems. • Support business-to-business manufacturing and procurement interactions, primarily with customer procurement contacts, to maintain smooth order and supply chain operations. Essential Skills

• Experience in business-to-business environments, preferably within manufacturing, order management, or supply chain operations. • Hands-on expereince in supply chain management, including order management, inventory, purchasing, and data entry. • Proficiency with SAP for order management, pricing review, and resolution of discrepancies. • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including working with spreadsheets and databases to manage and analyze order and inventory data. • Strong skill set in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. • Experience working with customer vendor management systems to monitor inventory levels, plan orders, and make expediting decisions. • Ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Strong problem resolution skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. • Ability to work independently as a self-directed contributor while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. • Adaptability to change, including evolving processes, systems, and customer requirements. • Comfort with frequent daily communication with customers, internal sales teams, and internal production teams via phone, email, and collaboration platforms. • Attention to detail in reviewing orders for completeness and accuracy, including pricing, dates, and approvals. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting supporting procurement, production, or distribution operations. • background in customer service within a supply chain, logistics, or order management environment. • Familiarity with EDI order processing and IDOC report management to identify and correct electronic data interchange errors. • Experience supporting Accounts Receivable with invoice management, including resolving short and over payments and claims. • Exposure to working with co-packers, bottling operations, and warehouse teams to manage inventory and product availability. • Ability to build strong customer relationships and support sales personnel by identifying and addressing order practices that impact service levels. • Interest in and willingness to participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing supply chain processes and customer experience. • Comfort with occasional travel to customer locations or plants once in a permanent role, with advance notice provided. Work EnvironmentThis role is primarily onsite in a cubicle-style office environment with a relaxed business casual dress code. Team members work closely with customer procurement contacts, mostly via email and some phone calls, with approximately 85% of orders processed through EDI and the remainder entered manually. The environment supports collaboration with five managers on the team and offers strong training and clear opportunities for advancement. Once in a permanent role, there is typically the option for one remote workday per week, and in some cases this flexibility may be available earlier depending on performance and familiarity with the role. The culture emphasizes a friendly atmosphere with team activities such as lunches, birthday celebrations, ping pong, and shared coffee breaks. Occasional travel may be possible in a permanent capacity to visit customer locations or plants, with plenty of notice and a focus on relationship-building and operational understanding. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
