Job Title: Entry Level Financial AnalystJob DescriptionJoin our Securities Administration Services (SAS) group where you will be responsible for processing complex transactions or reconcilements related to loan or security payments. This role involves providing remittance and correction information to servicers, monitoring and analyzing pooled loans for non-compliance, and communicating relevant information to investors.Responsibilities
• Process complex transactions or reconcilements for loan or security payments. • Provide remittance and correction information to servicers. • Monitor and analyze pooled loans to identify non-compliance. • Communicate pertinent information to investors. • Evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with agreements. • Participate in system enhancements by attending user group meetings and testing. • Identify and communicate processing exceptions relevant across portfolios. • Maintain expertise in Collateral, Securities, Default, or Trust Administration. • Train and review work of junior staff. • Propose recommendations and implement automated solutions. Essential Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Formulas, Pivot Tables, and V Look Up. • Strong business analysis skills. • Experience in finance, data, or math-related fields. • Research and interpret controlling legal documents effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business, or related field. • 1+ year experience in Financial Services, including internships. Work EnvironmentThis is a team-oriented, task-based environment with a hybrid flexible schedule. Training and large team meetings occur on-site monthly. The position allows for remote flexibility, except during large conferences or team meetings in Columbia, MD. The work is deadline-driven, requiring analyses to be completed at specific times of the month, which may necessitate overtime. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, MD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
