About this role
Primary Purpose: Coordinate and lead the district's federal/special programs. Collaborate with district staff to formulate, develop, implement, and evaluate federal/special programs and to ensure educational opportunities for all students. Provide leadership support to Counselors, Nurses, and District Mental Health Counselors. Ensure district compliance with State and Federal law as it pertains to all areas of responsibility. Qualifications: Education/Certification:
• Master's degree in Educational Administration
• Valid Texas administrative certification
Special Knowledge/Skills:
• Knowledge of wrap around student services
• Experience working collaboratively with school counseling and MTSS processes or systems
• Ability to evaluate instructional programs and effectiveness
• Ability to implement policy and procedures
• Ability to interpret data
• Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
• Three years' experience as a classroom teacher
• Three or more years of campus administrator experience preferred
