Position: Paraprofessional Rate of Pay: $16.10 per hour Work Schedule: 7.25 hours per day, 180 days per year Position Summary Addison Community Schools is seeking a dependable, positive, and student-focused Paraprofessional to support students and teachers in the classroom. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers and staff to provide a safe, positive, and productive learning environment while assisting students with classroom activities and assignments. Desired Qualifications
• High School Diploma required
• Some post-high school education preferred, but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Well organized with a strong work ethic
• Positive, responsible attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Basic technology skills
• Ability to work effectively and positively with students
Performance Responsibilities
• Maintain order and provide appropriate supervision of assigned students
• Tutor and assist students with lessons and assignments as directed by the teacher
• Help maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment
• Monitor assigned students for health concerns and report concerns as appropriate
• Assist students with lessons and assignments in regular classrooms, as assigned
• Assist teachers with classroom organization and other instructional needs
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation as required
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
• Perform other duties as assigned
