South Lane School District Middle School Math Teacher, Grade 8, 1.0 FTE 2026-2027 School Year Lincoln Middle School Middle School Math Teacher Lincoln Middle School is seeking a middle school math teacher who helps students build confidence, curiosity, and strong mathematical thinking. We're looking for an educator who enjoys working with young adolescents, makes math accessible to learners with varied needs, and contributes to a welcoming, collaborative school community. We are actively recruiting the best candidates for teaching positions, especially those from non-traditional backgrounds. • Plan and teach engaging, standards-aligned math lessons that develop conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and fluency.
• Use student work and assessment results to adjust instruction and provide timely feedback.
• Offer appropriate support and challenge so every student can make progress.
• Build positive relationships with students and create a classroom where they feel safe asking questions and learning from mistakes.
• Collaborate with colleagues, student-support staff, and families to support students' academic growth and well-being.
What we're looking for
• A valid teaching license or eligibility for licensure in Oregon, with authorization to teach middle school mathematics.
• Strong math content knowledge and a commitment to effective, inclusive instruction.
• Skill in classroom management, communication, and building relationships with middle school students.
• A collaborative, reflective approach to teaching and professional learning.

Salary Salary will be determined by previous teaching experience and degree level consistent with SLSD Licensed Salary Schedule.
