About this role
Job Summary: Under the direction of the Executive Directors of Teaching and Learning, the RtI Coordinator will coordinate and manage all RtI programs and related activities; leading and providing guidance to teachers and schools, implementing and maintaining services within established guidelines and standards; developing goals and strategic plans; and providing supervision as needed and/or assigned. The RtI Coordinator will work with other leaders in the Teaching and Learning Department to help the Bibb County School District dramatically accelerate student achievement. Minimum Qualifications:
• Must possess a minimum of a Master's degree, or above.
• Minimum of (5) years of successful school-level experience is required.
• Leadership certification desired.
• District-level experience desired
• Experience with GO MTSS/SST and reporting is required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications in the areas of Leadership, SST Coordinator, Special Education, Reading, and/or Math;
• District-level experience desired
Essential Job Functions:
• Lead implementation of the district RTI/MTSS framework across all schools, ensuring alignment with Teaching & Learning priorities.
• Conduct and document school-based RTI/MTSS support visits, including observations of intervention instruction (including but not limited to EIP and REP) and provide feedback to school leaders.
• Complete and document coaching cycles with interventionists, school coaches, and/or administrators to improve intervention practices and student outcomes
• Develop, maintain, and annually update the district RTI/MTSS Handbook and implementation guidance playbook.
• Facilitate district RTI/MTSS leadership meetings and provide ongoing support to school RTI teams.
• Monitor school implementation of intervention programs, progress-monitoring practices, and RTI/MTSS procedures, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Analyze universal screening, progress-monitoring, and intervention data to identify trends and recommend district and school action steps.
• Design and deliver professional learning on RTI/MTSS, intervention best practices, and data-driven decision-making
• Collaborate with Curriculum & Instruction, Special Education, ESOL, and school leadership teams to ensure coordinated support for students.
• Prepare district RTI/MTSS reports and ensure compliance with state and district requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• A strong understanding of Georgia's MTSS requirements related to testing, reporting, and support.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to complete assignments and reports, along with preparing presentations for the public.
• Ability to balance several job functions at one time and work under a heavy work load.
• Must be capable of interacting effectively with administrators, teachers, staff members, and the general public using tactful and helpful customer service.
SALARY/TERMS/BENEFITS: 1. 215 day work year. 2. Salary based on certification and experience; placement on the Adopted Salary Schedule 3.
