Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School Math Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and education, and a passion for helping students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This role involves planning and delivering engaging math instruction aligned with state and national standards for grades 9–12. Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in various math subjects (e.g., Algebra I/II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics) based on the curriculum.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the maturity and interests of students.
• Assess student progress and performance regularly through homework, tests, and other evaluations.
• Use technology and other instructional tools to enhance learning.
• Provide timely feedback to students and communicate academic progress to parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and school-wide initiatives.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events.
• Maintain accurate records, including attendance and grade books.
• Implement school policies and classroom management strategies effectively.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid state teaching certification in Secondary Mathematics.
• Prior experience teaching at the high school level is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of math content and effective instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
