About this role
The Part-Time Print Shop Assistant provides support in the Print Shop, which provides division-wide printing services to schools and departments as well as to Spotsylvania County government departments and entities. Essential Job Functions:
• Utilizes Print Shop software to receive, track, and maintain records of print shop orders and workflow.
• Operates finishing equipment, including laminators, paper cutters, coil binders, and related equipment.
• Produces print jobs accurately, attractively, and on schedule in accordance with job specifications and quality standards.
• Prepares completed print jobs for pick-up, including cutting, binding, laminating, collating, packaging, and other finishing as required.
• Determines materials and supplies needed for job completion and communicates inventory needs to the Print Shop Administrative Coordinator.
• Follows all applicable health, safety, and equipment operating procedures and reports equipment or production concerns as needed.

An employee's work schedule will be structured on an hourly, as needed basis, and recorded via a time sheet. The schedule for this position may be structured up to 37.5 hours per week.
