This role requires the ability to manage short lead times, rapid file turnaround, and multiple events simultaneously. The ideal candidate is organized, hospitality-minded, and comfortable moving between client-facing sales support and behind-the-scenes production in a fast-paced environment.

Inquiry & Sales Support

• Respond to corporate inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Qualify leads based on event scope, budget, guest count, and fit for The JDK Group

• Assist in scheduling discovery calls, site visits, and tastings

• Support proposal development using internal templates and guidance from senior team members

• Maintain accurate records of all client interactions in Caterease and CRM systems

Event Production & File Management

• Own production coordination for assigned corporate events from booking through accurate, execution-ready file completion

• Manage high-volume corporate event cycles with tight turnarounds, preparing timelines, detail sheets, pack sheets, and internal documentation

• Coordinate rentals, guest counts, and cross-department logistics; support Production Specialists on larger or more complex events as needed

Event Day & Onsite Support

• Attend and support event execution for assigned events, including evenings and weekends as business demands require

• Assist with setup oversight, service flow, and breakdown

• Handle real-time problem solving and ensure client expectations are met on event day

Internal Coordination & Performance

• Communicate event updates clearly across culinary, staffing, and operations teams

• Effectively utilize Caterease, Google Workspace, shared calendars, and internal communication tools

• Contribute to organized, efficient workflows across both sales and production departments

• Participate in team meetings, planning discussions, and operational reviews

• Continuously develop skills in hospitality, communication, and event coordination while staying current on industry trends

• Perform additional responsibilities and operational support as needed based on business demands

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in hospitality, events, catering, or sales

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously

• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and handle a fast-moving event cycle

• Clear, professional written and verbal communication

• Comfortable in both client-facing and behind-the-scenes production environments; experience with Caterease or similar event systems a plus

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move through office, warehouse, and event spaces for extended periods, including lifting up to 25 lbs during site visits or onsite support

• Ability to travel locally between venues, meetings, and company locations as needed

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours based on business demands

What Success Looks Like

• Corporate inquiries are responded to promptly and managed with professionalism
