What makes this role exciting CloudPay is seeking a motivated and fast-learning AMER Payroll Apprentice to join our dynamic and growing team in Costa Rica.
This entry-level role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about developing a career in payroll, particularly in the Americas region. You will gain hands-on experience in global payroll processes, working with supportive teams across borders. • Collaborate with clients and service partners, ensuring accurate information exchange through multiple systems
• Ability to reconcile pre-processing reports to ensure accuracy of information before processing payroll.
• Research discrepancies in payroll information and/or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures before processing.
• Analyze payroll-related information to ensure accurate distribution of funds and payroll
• Participate in testing and parallel runs for new payroll requirements
• Assist Payroll Supervisors with operational tasks and projects across the region
Experience needed for this role
• Technical High School degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
• A strong sense of teamwork, time management, and collaboration across diverse teams
• Fast learner with a proactive mindset and a commitment to growth
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems and learning new tools (training provided)
• Previous payroll experience and/or additional language skills are welcomed but not required
