If you enjoy practical outdoor work and taking pride in well-presented public spaces, this role puts you at the heart of Stirling’s streetscape maintenance. You’ll work in a small team to care for landscaped areas, trees, shrubs and turf across the community.
You’ll also build your versatility by operating minor plant, supporting safe worksites and rotating across horticultural services as part of a multi-skilled team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Maintain streetscapes to agreed horticultural service standardsPrune, plant, mulch and maintain trees and shrubsMaintain turf, flower beds and landscaped areasControl weeds and pests using approved treatmentsOperate and maintain minor plant safely and efficientlyReport faults, damage and landscape condition issues promptlySupport safe traffic controls around worksitesParticipate in toolbox meetings and team rotations
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a practical, safety-focused team member with recent gardening experience in amenity horticulture. You’ll ideally bring:
Year 10 Certificate or equivalent educationRecent gardening experience in amenity horticultureCurrent unrestricted C Class driver’s licenceStrong safety awareness and safe work practicesUnderstanding of horticultural plant operator maintenanceClear active listening and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively within a small teamBasic Worksite Traffic Management accreditation desirable Why You’ll Love Working Here
