CEDA is currently seeking Millwright Journeyman to join the Dredging and Fluid Management team at Imperial Oil's, Kearl Lake. This is a full time, site based opportunity with camp and flights provided.

Perform routine and preventative maintenance to all rotating and stationary equipment within the dredging and fluid management fleet (dredges, tender boats, and 3x4 to 16x16 positive displacement pumpsPerform critical laser flange alignment on pieces of equipmentExecute scopes of work in accordance with Transport Canada standardsRepair, fabricate or replace defective machinery components and follow up testing/calibrate on repairsRig and move machinery and partsAssist operations start up and shutdown of equipment according to appropriate safety procedures and governing standardsInterpret schematics and read service manuals to determine work proceduresEstablish and communicate task lists, order parts, and bill of materials required for scopes of workEnsure all health, safety and environment practices and paperwork are complete for all day to day activitiesOther duties as assignedRole Specifications
Journeyman Millwright Red Seal requiredComprehensive mechanical understanding of dredges, pontoons, ladder winches, and cutter heads (1+ years of experience)Ability to read and understand piping and instrument diagramsClass 5 Driver’s licence requiredAbility to complete a pre-employment drug & alcohol testPerform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)Skills
