CEDA has an immediate opening for an Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic for our shop in Conklin AB.
We’re a small team, you’ll get to know the people as well as you know the equipment. The variety of interesting equipment with specialty components combined with the tools needed to do great work are a few reasons our shop team loves working here.

Preventative maintenance on Vacuum trucks, Combos, Water Trucks, Tankers, Skid-steers and Pressure TrucksOngoing diagnostic and repair of diesel engines, after treatment/emissions, hydraulic systems and pumpsTroubleshoot issues, inspect equipment and replace or repair defective partsInterpret work ordersOccasionally attend service calls in the field Work alongside Journeyman to learn and develop your skills Attend daily tool-box and safety meetings as scheduledOther duties as assignedRole Specifications:
Registered Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician or higher requiredValid class 5 Driver’s licence required (non GDL) clean 5 year abstractClass 1 or 3 licence considered an assetExperience in hydraulic, electrical, and pump systems is an assetAble to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol testAble to provide your own toolsSkills:
