Responsibilities:
The Nurse Manager will:
Direct and coordinate the care provided by a multi-disciplinary care team Lead field staff in delivering exceptional client service and quality clinical careEnsure adherence to policies and proceduresReview clinical documentation, including OASIS and care plan codingMonitor episodic utilizationAct as internal case manager and client advocateParticipate in hiring, interviewing and orientation of field staffParticipate in on-going education, evaluation and development of field staffEnsure accurate and timely case management, including HHA supervision, authorization management and interdisciplinary communicationMonitor Quality AssuranceVisit clients to conduct clinical assessments and supervise staff as necessaryAssist in developing Clinical Associates to become Nurse ManagersProvide clinical insight and focus on clinical competency of your staff Qualifications:
Qualifications for a Nurse Manager:
Current RN license in good standing BSN preferred, and required based on state regulationsPrior supervisory experienceMinimum of two (2) years community health nursing experiencePrior clinical and managerial experience within a Medicare Certified Home Health agencyComprehensive knowledge of OASIS and the Medicare Conditions of Participation for Home Health.Strong clinical assessment and case management skillsDemonstrated success working independently while taking on increased responsibilitiesAmbition to grow and advance beyond current positionExcellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skillsPrior experience with electronic medical record documentation and reporting systems BAYADA Offers:
