What You'll Do:
Vehicle Maintenance & Safety
Oversee daily DVIRs (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports); pull unsafe vehicles from service immediatelyExecute preventive maintenance calendars: oil changes, brakes, tires, fluids, filtersTriage and coordinate repairs with approved vendors; maintain backup vehicles to prevent route gapsCompliance & Documentation
Keep vehicle registrations, insurance schedules, and DOT documentation currentManage all incident/accident reporting through the Amazon DSP portal within required timeframesEnforce Amazon vehicle condition and appearance standardsTelematics & Data
Monitor Mentor/Netradyne in-cab camera and telematics data daily; review flagged eventsPartner with field managers to deliver data-driven coaching to driversAudit fuel card usage against vehicle mileage; flag anomaliesFleet Operations
Manage daily vehicle-to-driver assignments for standard and AMXL routesServe as first responder for in-field breakdowns: coordinate roadside assistance and vehicle swapsManage vendor relationships, parts inventory, and roadside assistance contractsBudget & Reporting
Own the fleet cost line: fuel, maintenance, insurance, registration, and lease paymentsTrack cost-per-mile per vehicle; model repair-vs.-replace decisions on aging unitsProvide weekly fleet readiness reports to ownership What We're Looking For:
2+ years of fleet management, transportation operations, or vehicle maintenance coordinationWorking knowledge of DOT/FMCSA vehicle compliance standardsStrong organizational skills — comfortable managing 20+ vehicles, multiple vendors, and shifting prioritiesValid driver's license with a clean driving recordFlexible schedule availability including early mornings and Saturdays Amazon DSP, last-mile delivery, or logistics/transportation backgroundFamiliarity with Mentor by eDriving or Netradyne telematics platformsMechanical aptitude or ASE certificationExperience managing fleets of 30+ commercial vehiclesAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
