Delivery Driver Helper Duties and Responsibilities
- Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!
- Assist the delivery driver in the safe and timely transport of goods to customers
- Assist driver with parking, backing up and manouvering of the vehicle
- Assist driver with contact compliance
- Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle
- Perform heavy lifting of packages and products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle
Delivery Driver Helper Basic Requirements
Eligible to work in the U.SMust be 18 years of ageMust be available to work weekends.Must be able to safely work with heavy, bulky packages up to 300 lbsMust be committed to excellent customer serviceHaving a Driver's license - a PLUSExperience with box trucks, tractor-trailers, and refrigerated trailers - a PLUSProficient in heavy lifting techniques and able to lift heavy items repeatedly - a PLUSFamiliarity with operating pallet jacks for moving goods - a PLUSCommercial driving experience - a PLUSKnowledge of warehouse operations and courier services - a PLUS All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
