Our corporate office is located in the Denver Tech Center. Our office spans the top two floors of the building and features expansive views of the mountains and the downtown skyline.
AIR values relationships and the benefits from working side by side with teammates, therefore this position will be in-office 5 days a week to support operations.
What You Will Do
Month-End Close & General Accounting
Prepare and post journal entries related to the monthly close processAssist in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reportingRecord accruals, reclassifications, prepaid expenses, and other recurring accounting transactionsSupport timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Reconciliations & Financial Accuracy
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheet reconciliationsInvestigate and resolve discrepancies while maintaining strong internal controlsMonitor account activity to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial dataManage debt-related reconciliations and supporting schedulesFinancial Analysis & Reporting
Perform actual-to-budget and actual-to-forecast variance analysisPrepare financial analyses, roll-forwards, and supporting schedulesAssist with preparation, review, and distribution of financial reportsProvide meaningful insights that support operational and financial decision-makingAsset & Expense Management
Manage prepaid expense schedules and related accounting entriesMaintain fixed asset and intangible asset recordsRecord monthly depreciation and amortization activitiesEnsure proper classification and tracking of company assetsCollaboration & Continuous Improvement
Partner with cross-functional teams to gather information and improve processesSupport accounting initiatives and process improvement opportunitiesContribute ideas that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall team performanceProvide exceptional internal customer service while building strong working relationshipsKeys to Success:

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldInternship experience, public accounting experience, or 1-3 years of relevant accounting experienceExperience preparing journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and account reconciliationsExperience performing balance sheet reconciliationsStrong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with financial systemsExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesOutstanding attention to detail and commitment to accuracyPreferred Qualifications

Expected pay range of $65,000 - $80,000 base salary plus annual target bonus.
