Position Summary: The Business Analyst serves as a liaison between the IT and business operations functional areas within Triumph Business Capital. Works closely with product subject matter experts to define and detail business requirements and prioritize feature development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Consult with business subject matter experts on a regular basis to define and document business and customer needsDevelop system acceptance test plans, objectives, and cases/scriptsIn partnership with the business departments and technical teams, develop detailed systems design specifications and components (e.g., user screens, program logic, calculations, formats, reports, interfaces, etc.)Manage projects using Agile methodologiesParticipate in priority setting for IT initiatives by facilitating discussions with business product managers and development teamsWork closely with development teams to manage the execution of projects on time and within budgetDevelop and manage user communications regarding new functionalityCreate weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reports and provide Supervisor with additional updates as neededTrack and manage issues and risksMaintain awareness of additional stakeholders beyond your project specific activities to identify additional Triumph needs and prioritiesParticipate in systems acceptance testing activities as neededManage vendor relationships and/or resources as neededProvide problem resolution and enhancement support for production applicationsProvide assistance with user training and documentation activitiesSupport M&A integration strategy and planningOther duties are included, as assigned by the manager, according to the needs of the sales group and management.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is full-time position, and work days are Monday through Friday; at minimum, work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, however the position may require the employee to travel to attend vendor selection/meetings, potential product conferences, etc. outside of business hours. Work schedule will include evenings and weekends as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

TRAVEL

This position requires up to 10% travel. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience2+ years project management experience or 4+ years Business Analyst experience in a professional environmentExperience with agile implementation methodologiesDevelopment experience a plus

The successful candidate will possess business operations experience and skills, leadership and management expertise, analytical and critical thinking skills, and attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess the following:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to flex communication style with technical and non-technical usersStrong project management and organizational skills, with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to make decisions in a fast paced environmentMust be able to act as liaison between team members and department leadersAbility to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
