About this role
Acumen Solutions is hiring for a Senior Project Manager in the Philadelphia Metro Area. This position will initially be responsible for managing a mobile development project consisting of 3 to 5 resources, with a career path towards a senior leadership roles within Acumen Solutions.
Specific Duties
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures Identifies and manages project riskEnsures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately Reviews the status reports of team members and addresses issues as appropriate Support client management and relationship development as well as business development efforts as needed
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree10 - 15 years experience managing projects/teams across the entire SDLC including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment and support Change/release managementProfessional Services experienceIT consulting and client interactionNetworking and business developmentAny mobile application or cable/telecom experience is a plusExperience working within an established PMO processExperience managing 3rd party implementation vendorsExperience managing 3rd party support vendors General Project/Practice Related Competencies Project /Practice ManagementExperience in designing and developing software components and having a very strong Service Oriented Architecture and integration background Authorized to work for any U.S. employerRemote work is not an option for this role
