We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Income Auditor - Associate to join our finance team in Mysuru, India. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of income documentation through comprehensive audits and financial analysis. You will work closely with our finance and accounting teams to verify income records, identify discrepancies, and maintain compliance with established audit standards and regulations. Analyze and review income statements, financial records, and supporting documentation to verify accuracy and completenessPerform detailed income verification procedures and reconcile variances between recorded amounts and supporting evidenceIdentify discrepancies, irregularities, and potential audit risks during the audit processPrepare comprehensive audit reports, working papers, and documentation in accordance with audit standardsEnsure compliance with internal audit procedures, regulatory requirements, and organizational policiesCollaborate with finance, accounting, and operational teams to gather necessary information and clarify audit findingsMaintain organized and detailed audit trails, ensuring all documentation is properly filed and easily retrievableFollow up on audit recommendations and track the implementation of corrective actionsAssist in the development and refinement of audit procedures and controlsCommunicate audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and professional manner 1-3 years of professional experience in audit, accounting, finance, or related rolesProven experience with income verification processes and financial analysisStrong proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPHands-on experience with accounting software and financial management systemsSolid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and audit standardsExcellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and anomaliesStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple audit assignmentsProficient written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentFamiliarity with internal audit frameworks and compliance requirementsPreferred: Experience with ERP systems and knowledge of Indian tax regulations and compliance requirementsPreferred: Advanced data analysis skills and experience with audit management tools Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:
