We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate (GSA) - Food & Beverage to join our team in Mercure Hyderabad KCP, India. As a GSA, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of service and efficiency.

Greet and escort guests to their tables, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphereTake food and beverage orders accurately, demonstrating thorough knowledge of menu items and daily specialsServe food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to service standardsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including table settings and side stationsProcess payments and handle cash and credit transactions efficientlyUpsell and promote food and beverage offerings to maximize revenueRespond promptly to guest inquiries and concerns, ensuring customer satisfactionCollaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparationAdhere to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) at all timesAssist in opening and closing procedures of the restaurantSupport other Food & Beverage outlets during peak times or as requiredParticipate in team meetings, training sessions, and briefings as scheduled Minimum of 1 year experience in hotel operations or food and beverage serviceStrong service-focused personality with excellent interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentThorough knowledge of food and beverage service standards and proceduresUnderstanding of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenBasic math skills for handling financial transactionsAbility to memorize menu items and make recommendations to guestsFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systemsRelevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management (preferred)Additional language skills are a plus
