About this role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Laundry Attendant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within our laundry operations. Reporting to the Laundry Supervisor, you will be responsible for sorting, processing, and preparing linens while ensuring all health and safety protocols are consistently followed. Your commitment to quality and collaborative approach will directly contribute to the success of our housekeeping operations.
Sort soiled guestroom and food & beverage linens as required, filling containers and preparing them for pick-up with accurate labelingIdentify and set aside misused or damaged linen for further investigation and reportingReport any foreign articles found within the linen or chute area (such as glass, food, cutlery, or needles) to the Supervisor immediatelyFold, roll, and organize clean towels, bathrobes, and room linens into containers for distribution by floor staffMaintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all timesAdhere to all health and safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment such as masks and glovesAssist with washing towels and linens when required, following all guidelines for chemical handling and proper lifting techniquesReport any equipment malfunctions or potential health and safety hazards to the Supervisor promptlySupport other team members and assist with additional duties within the laundry area as neededAttend training courses and professional development sessions provided by the Housekeeping and Human Resources departments High School diploma or vocational training certificationMinimum 1 year of work experience in laundry operations or housekeeping (preferred)Basic understanding of the English language, both written and verbalPhysical capability to lift, carry, and handle items weighing up to 25 lbs regularlyStrong organizational and time management skills with attention to detailAbility to follow instructions and procedures consistently and accuratelyKnowledge of health and safety protocols and chemical handling best practicesExcellent teamwork and communication skills with a collaborative mindsetReliability, punctuality, and strong work ethicPhysical stamina and endurance for a fast-paced laundry environmentPrevious experience in luxury hotel housekeeping operations (preferred)Problem-solving ability and resilience in a dynamic work setting Your Team and Working Environment:
