Oversee all aspects of in-room dining operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences and service excellenceManage and supervise the in-room dining team, including scheduling, training, performance management, and professional developmentEnsure consistent delivery of high-quality food and beverage service in accordance with Fairmont standards and brand guidelinesMonitor operational efficiency, including order accuracy, delivery times, and guest satisfaction metricsMaintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations across all in-room dining operationsCollaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine in-room dining menus that align with guest preferences and seasonal offeringsManage inventory levels, food costs, and portion control to optimise profitability whilst maintaining quality standardsHandle guest complaints and concerns professionally, implementing corrective actions to ensure guest satisfaction and loyaltyConduct regular quality audits and inspections of food presentation, service standards, and room cleanlinessAnalyse operational data and guest feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement and revenue enhancementLiaise with front office, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and guest service deliveryEnsure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and local regulations governing food and beverage service
Minimum 5-6 years of experience in food and beverage operations management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager roleProven experience managing in-room dining or room service operations in a luxury hospitality environmentDiploma or certification in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or equivalent professional qualificationStrong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and health regulations (FSSAI certification or equivalent)Demonstrated proficiency in hospitality management systems and point-of-sale (POS) softwareExcellent leadership and team management capabilities with experience in staff training and performance managementOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively across departmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience in operational data analysis and reportingProficiency in English (written and spoken); additional language skills are advantageousExperience working with luxury hotel brands or five-star propertiesCertification in Food Safety or Advanced Hospitality ManagementExperience in menu development and culinary collaboration WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU:
