We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Concierge to join our team at our luxury resort in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Concierge, you will be the primary point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring their stay on our beautiful tropical island is memorable and hassle-free.
Welcome guests and provide a warm, professional first impression of our resortOffer comprehensive information about local attractions, activities, and dining options in Phu Quoc and the surrounding areasMake reservations for restaurants, transportation, and various guest activitiesRespond promptly to guest enquiries and requests, ensuring timely follow-up and resolutionMaintain up-to-date knowledge of upcoming events and local happeningsCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiencesHandle guest complaints and concerns with empathy and efficiencyManage concierge desk operations, including maintaining a clean and organised workspaceAssist with luggage and other guest services as neededParticipate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance service qualityPromote and upsell resort amenities and services when appropriateMaintain accurate records of guest interactions and preferences Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; fluency in Vietnamese is highly desirablePrevious experience in a concierge or front desk role within a high volume luxury hotel or resort environmentDegree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field is preferredIn-depth knowledge of Phu Quoc Island and its attractionsStrong computer skills, including proficiency in hotel management softwareExceptional interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyDemonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detailFlexible approach to work, including willingness to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidaysCultural sensitivity and ability to interact with guests from diverse backgroundsProactive and self-motivated with a passion for exceeding guest expectationsWell-groomed appearance and professional demeanourAbility to stand for extended periods and assist with luggage when required What awaits you...
