We are seeking a friendly and professional Waiter/ess to join our restaurant team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Waiter/ess, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests whilst providing attentive and efficient service.
Greet and seat guests, ensuring a warm and professional welcomeTake food and beverage orders accurately and efficientlyProvide detailed menu information, including daily specials and beverage recommendationsServe food and drinks in a timely and courteous mannerMaintain a clean and organised dining area at all timesProcess payments and handle cash and card transactions accuratelyCollaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flowRespond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues professionallyAdhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standardsAssist in setting up and closing down the restaurant Previous experience as a waiter/ess in a high volume luxury hotel or resort environment Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on guest satisfactionStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and multitask effectivelyGood knowledge of food and beverage service techniquesBasic maths skills for handling bills and paymentsPhysical stamina to stand for long periods and carry traysAbility to memorise menu items and daily specialsFluency in English; additional languages are advantageousFamiliarity with Vietnamese cuisine and culture (preferred)Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekendsWillingness to work in Phu Quoc, Vietnam What awaits you...
