We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Life Guard to join our team in 6th of October City, Egypt. As a Life Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests at our aquatic facilities. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who combines strong water safety expertise with exceptional customer service skills. You will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, responding swiftly to emergencies, and providing reassurance to our guests through your professional presence and expertise.
Monitor pool and beach areas continuously to identify potential hazards and prevent drowning incidentsMaintain current knowledge of first aid, CPR, and water rescue techniques; respond promptly and effectively to emergency situationsConduct regular safety inspections of aquatic facilities and ensure all safety signage is visible, accurate, and up-to-dateEnforce facility rules and safety regulations in a professional and friendly manner to ensure guest compliancePerform water rescues and provide emergency medical assistance when necessaryMaintain detailed incident reports and communicate hazardous situations to management in a timely and transparent mannerCollaborate with team members and management to implement and maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the facilityAssist guests with questions and concerns, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining focus on safetyDemonstrate flexibility by supporting operations across different areas of the facility and assisting with assigned tasks as directed by managementStay organized and maintain equipment in proper working condition, including rescue tools and safety devices Education: Vocational college diploma or equivalent qualificationCertifications: Current and valid professional life guard certification; current First Aid and CPR certificationsExperience: Minimum 2 years of related work experience in a life guard or aquatic safety roleLanguage Skills: Proficient in English and Arabic to communicate effectively with guests and team membersSwimming Proficiency: Advanced swimming ability with demonstrated water rescue and survival skillsPhysical Capability: Excellent physical fitness, stamina, and ability to work extended shifts in outdoor and indoor environmentsTechnical Skills: Proficiency in operating basic life guard equipment and safety devices; ability to use monitoring and communication toolsCore Competencies: Strong attention to detail, situational awareness, decisive decision-making, and ability to remain calm under pressureKnowledge: Comprehensive understanding of emergency response procedures, water safety protocols, and facility health and safety policiesSoft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities; collaborative mindset; empathetic approach to guest interactions; resilience and reliability
