About this role
The Carpenter is responsible to repair, maintain and construct wood structures such as partitions, doors, furniture and similar items throughout the hotel. The Carpenter is to provide the highest quality service working in an efficient and thoughtful manner. At all times the highest level of service standards is to be adhered to.
Education & Experience:
At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related building environment2 plus years of Building Carpentry experienceHighly skilled in all aspects of finish carpentry, i.e. crown molding, wood base and trim workAbility to access high areas using a ladderVocational/technical training or apprenticeshipHigh school diploma. Trade school or apprenticeship in carpentry and/or construction.Work Authorization in the U.S. Physical requirements:
Extended periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs, crouching/kneeling, bending and twistingCarrying/lifting up to 50lbsRepetitive motionTalking/communicating/listening
