About this role
Lead and inspire the Engineering team to deliver operational excellence.Oversee the maintenance and reliability of all hotel facilities, including MEP systems, HVAC, fire & life safety, guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house operations.Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to maximize asset performance.Manage departmental budgets, capital expenditure projects, and contractor relationships.Drive energy efficiency, sustainability initiatives, and environmental compliance.Ensure compliance with all local regulations, health and safety standards, and brand requirements.Collaborate with the Executive Committee to support the hotel's strategic and operational objectives. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.At least 8 years of progressive engineering leadership experience, including senior management experience in a luxury hotel or resort.Strong technical expertise in hotel engineering systems and facilities management.Proven experience managing capital projects, budgets, and preventive maintenance programs.Strong leadership, communication, and people development skills.A strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Passion for sustainability, innovation, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
