Coordinate and supervise kitchen team members, ensuring high performance and cohesive teamworkMaintain exemplary personal appearance, hygiene standards, and proper food handling proceduresWork closely with Sous Chefs on daily operations, including reviewing function sheets and communicating updates to the teamOversee and demonstrate cooking methods for all outlets, ensuring consistent food quality and presentationManage inventory, participate in ordering supplies, and check incoming goodsEnsure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, Food Acts, and company policiesParticipate in and contribute to training programmes for continuous improvementCarry out external duties such as special events, promotions, and demonstrations as requiredDevelop and implement new menu items in collaboration with the Executive Chef and Sous ChefsMonitor and control food costs, minimising waste and maximising resource utilisationEnsure proper rotation and storage of food items to maintain freshness and qualityAssist in the preparation of staff rotas and manage section staffing levelsMaintain and update recipe files, ensuring standardisation across the kitchenConduct regular quality checks on dishes before they leave the kitchenMentor and coach junior kitchen staff to develop their skills and knowledgePlease note that we believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to do different tasks from time to time to enable us to meet the needs of our guests and colleagues.
3 years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry.Outstanding communication skills, both written & verbal.A confident & dynamic speaker, able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of an organization.Enthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to build trusting relationships with others.Proven organizational skills, works well on their own.
