Assist in the preparation and production of a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goodsFollow recipes and instructions accurately to ensure consistency and quality of productsMaintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all food safety and hygiene standardsCollaborate with senior pastry chefs and other kitchen staff to meet daily production goalsAssist in the plating and presentation of desserts for various dining outletsParticipate in inventory management and cost control measuresContribute creative ideas for new dessert concepts and menu itemsSupport the pastry team during high-volume periods and special eventsContinuously learn and improve pastry skills under the guidance of senior chefsEnsure all pastry items meet our high standards of quality and presentation
Basic pastry skills and knowledge of fundamental pastry techniquesFamiliarity with a wide range of pastry ingredients and equipmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to excellence in all aspects of workExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic team environmentGood time management skills and ability to multitaskKnowledge of food safety and hygiene practicesPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and work in a kitchen environmentFlexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidaysBasic understanding of cost control and inventory managementProactive, solution-oriented approach to challengesBasic math skills for recipe calculationsAbility to read and follow recipes accuratelyCreativity and willingness to contribute innovative ideasCulinary school diploma or relevant certificate in pastry arts is preferred
