About this role

This role is responsible for delivering luxury spa services including massages, facials, and body therapies while ensuring the highest levels of professionalism, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate is passionate about wellness, attentive to detail, and dedicated to creating meaningful and memorable moments for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

Perform professional spa treatments including massages, facials, body scrubs, and wellness therapies in line with Faena luxury standardsAssess guest needs and preferences to personalize treatments and ensure maximum comfort and satisfactionMaintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation within treatment rooms, equipment, and spa areasPrepare treatment rooms before each appointment and ensure rooms are reset following treatmentsEnsure proper handling, usage, and storage of spa products, oils, tools, linens, and equipmentDeliver exceptional guest service with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail throughout the guest journeyPromote wellness and relaxation while creating a calm and welcoming environment for all guestsEducate guests on treatment benefits, aftercare recommendations, and wellness routinesSupport spa retail initiatives by recommending suitable spa and wellness products to guestsFollow all spa operational procedures, health and safety regulations, and brand standardsMaintain punctuality and manage treatment schedules efficiently to ensure seamless operationsCommunicate effectively with spa reception and fellow team members regarding guest preferences, schedules, and operational updatesHandle guest concerns or feedback professionally and escalate when requiredStay updated on new wellness trends, treatment techniques, and luxury spa practicesParticipate in training sessions, team meetings, and ongoing development programsEnsure guest confidentiality and privacy are always maintained Diploma or certification in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Wellness Therapy, or a related field.Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Spa Therapist within a luxury hotel, resort, wellness retreat, or high-end spa environment.Proven ability to perform a variety of treatments including massages, facials, and body therapies.Additional certifications in specialized treatments such as Aromatherapy, Hot Stone Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Reflexology, or Lymphatic Drainage are highly desirable.Valid First Aid and CPR certification preferred.Strong understanding of spa hygiene, sanitation, and health & safety practices in accordance with luxury hospitality standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build genuine guest connections.Warm, professional, and well-groomed presentation with a passion for wellness and guest care.Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required by operational needs.Fluent English communication skills required; additional languages including Arabic are an advantage.Strong teamwork skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
