We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Beverage Manager to join our team in Movenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon. As a key member of our food and beverage department reporting to the F&B Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our beverage operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving profitability.
Manage and optimize beverage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storageDevelop and implement innovative beverage menus that align with current trends and guest preferencesTrain and supervise bar staff to maintain high standards of service and product knowledgeEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulationsMonitor and control beverage costs to maximize profitabilityCollaborate with the food and beverage team to create cohesive dining experiencesHandle guest inquiries and resolve any beverage-related issues promptly and professionallyAnalyze sales data and prepare regular reports on beverage performanceStay updated on industry trends and introduce new beverage concepts to keep offerings fresh and excitingParticipate in budgeting and forecasting for the beverage departmentMaintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industryBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferredProven track record in beverage management and cost controlExcellent knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beveragesStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectivelyOutstanding customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiencesProficiency in inventory management and beverage ordering softwareExperience with POS systems and their application in beverage operationsSolid understanding of food and beverage pairing principlesAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredUp-to-date knowledge of industry trends and mixology techniquesCommitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety practicesAbility to analyze sales data and generate actionable insightsProficiency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other languages is a plus The ability to challenge the norm and work in an environment that is both creative and rewarding.Be part of a team that is very passionate about creating great hospitality experiences and exploring new locations with every opportunity.A competitive package and plenty of development opportunities.
