About this role
Working alongside our experienced Conference and Events Sales team, you'll lead the operational delivery of events from planning to completion, ensuring every event runs seamlessly and delivers an exceptional guest experience.
What you'll be doing.
Lead and develop a dedicated operations team, creating a positive high performing cultureOversee the operational delivery of conferences, meetings, functions, gala dinners and eventsEnsure guests are delivered to a consistently high standard, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and attention to detailWork closely with the Conference and Events sales team to ensure a seamless transition from event planning to operational delivery Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Sales team and AV provider to ensure all event requirements are deliveredManage event setup, serviced delivery and operational requirements across the hotel's conference and event spaesIdentify opportunities to improve processes, service standards and the overall event experienceLead by example and support the team to deliver exceptional service Previous experience in a Conference and Events Operations Manager role or similar leadership roleExperience managing events within a large, high-volume operationStrong leadership and people management skillsExceptional attention to detail and organisational skillsExcellent communication skillsA genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiencesA collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships across departmentsTHe flexibility to work across a variable roster, including early starts, late nights, weekends and public holidays when required.
