About this role
We’re looking for a passionate and driven Sous Chef – Pastry to support the leadership of our pastry kitchen and help drive high-quality, creative offerings across restaurant and event service.
In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef and Executive Chef to oversee daily pastry operations, ensuring consistency, quality and efficiency across the resort. You’ll play a key leadership role in guiding the team, maintaining standards and contributing to menu development in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchenDeliver high-quality pastry across à la carte and conference & events serviceDrive menu development and contribute fresh, creative ideasMaintain consistency, presentation and food safety standards across all productionLead, train and develop junior chefsCoordinate with wider kitchen teams to ensure smooth and efficient serviceSupport stock control, ordering and waste management practicesFoster a positive team culture and continuous improvement mindset Trade qualified in Patisserie with strong pastry experience in a hotel or similar environmentProven experience in high-volume or conference & events operations highly regardedStrong knowledge of food safety, HACCP and kitchen compliance standardsCreative approach with strong attention to detail and presentation standardsDemonstrated ability to lead by example and support team developmentStrong organisational skills and ability to perform under pressurePositive, professional attitude with a genuine passion for pastry and teamwork Why work for Accor?
