Fairmont The Red Sea is seeking a dynamic and professional Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. In this supervisory role, you will oversee daily food and beverage operations, lead a dedicated team, and ensure exceptional service standards that align with Fairmont's commitment to excellence. You will be instrumental in maintaining operational efficiency while delivering outstanding guest experiences in our luxury resort setting.
Supervise and manage food and beverage staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a motivated and skilled teamMaintain consistent service quality and operational standards across all F&B outlets, ensuring compliance with company policies and proceduresMonitor inventory levels, manage costs, and implement strategies to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standardsEnsure health, safety, and sanitation regulations are strictly adhered to in all food preparation and service areasAddress guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure customer satisfactionCoordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations during peak service periodsConduct staff training and development programs to enhance service skills and product knowledgeAnalyze operational metrics and prepare reports on performance, identifying areas for improvementManage reservations, special events, and customized dining experiences to exceed guest expectationsMaintain organized records of staff schedules, inventory, and financial reports Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience in food and beverage operations within a hospitality settingProven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staffStrong knowledge of food and beverage operations, menu planning, and service standardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approachProficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management softwareSolid understanding of inventory management, cost control, and budget managementDemonstrated problem-solving abilities and decisiveness in high-pressure environmentsKnowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations in food service operationsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredMultilingual abilities (Arabic and English preferred) are advantageousStrong organizational and time management skills with attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a luxury hospitality environment What’s in it for you...
