About this role

As a People and Culture Recruiter, you will play a key role in the hotel’s recruitment and onboarding efforts. This position is primarily focused on recruitment coordination, onboarding and supporting internal movement of talent. It is ideal for a highly organized tech savvy individual who enjoys working with people and managing details in a fast-paced environment.

Hourly rate: $32.49

What you will be doing:

Recruitment and Hiring:

Coordinate and manage the recruitment process from job posting through to hirePresents qualified candidates to hiring managers for final selectionPartner with leaders to understand hiring needs and supporting timely staffingTrack candidate progress and maintain accurate records in recruitment system (SmartRecruiters)Pre- Hire and Onboarding

Manages the pre-hire process including background checks, offers and system entryCoordinates and supports new hire orientation, ensuring a welcoming and organized first day experienceServes as point of contact for candidates and new hires throughout the onboardingInternal Mobility Support:

Supports employees through internal and temporary transfer programProvides clear guidance on eligibility, timeliness and application stepsMaintains accurate tracking and documentation System, Reporting & Administration

Maintain recruitment systems and ensure data accuracySupports reporting on recruitment, turnover and hiring activityEnsures processes align with company standards, policies and applicable laws.Utilize recruitment and assessment platforms effectively, supporting hiring managers as neededEnsure that all of the administration of recruitment and retention standards are met in alignment with Brand StandardsEmployer Branding & Community Engagement

Support recruitment marketing efforts through social media and community outreachAssist in promoting the hotel as an employer of choiceParticipate in job fairs, school partnership and local recruitment initiativesGeneral People & Culture Support

Provide administrative support across People and Culture functions as neededResponds to employee and candidate inquiries in a timely and professional mannerSupports engagement initiatives and participates in hotel committeesSchedule: Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including overnight, weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.

Previous experience in Human Resources, recruitment or administrative support preferredPrior hospitality experience is desirablePrevious experience in Talent Acquisition a strong assetExperience supporting high volume or fast paced environments a plusComfortable working with systems and technology (experience ATS platforms such as SmartRecruiters preferred)Education:

Degree in Human Resources or previous experience in People & Culture (Human Resources) is an asset All Candidates must be in possession of identification proving authorization to work in the United States as defined in the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA).
