About this role
We’re looking for a passionate and energetic Barista to join our Food & Beverage team on a part-time basis.
You’ll be responsible for crafting quality coffee and beverages while delivering friendly, engaging service across our resort outlets, including Sola Restaurant, Deli Café & Market and the Sunshine Coast Convention Centre.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves coffee, enjoys working with people and wants the flexibility of a part-time hospitality role. With a variety of outlets and events across the property, no two shifts are quite the same. You’ll need to be confident multitasking, prioritising competing demands and staying organised during busy service periods.
What you’ll be doing:
Prepare and serve quality coffee, specialty beverages and refreshmentsDeliver friendly, efficient and personalised service to our guestsMultitask across coffee preparation, customer service and other service needsKeep coffee stations, equipment and service areas clean, organised and well presentedAssist with stock replenishment and maintaining appropriate suppliesSupport the wider Food & Beverage team during busy service periodsAssist with conferences, functions and special events when requiredFollow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standardsContribute to a positive, energetic and supportive team environment We’re looking for someone who brings:
Previous barista experience in a café, restaurant, hotel or similar environmentA genuine passion for coffee and hospitalityA friendly, outgoing personality and a natural ability to connect with guestsStrong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality beveragesThe ability to stay calm and organised in a fast-paced environmentA team-focused attitude and willingness to jump in and help wherever neededAvailability to work a flexible part-time roster, including weekends, evenings and public holidaysIf you’re looking for a part-time role where you can build your skills, meet great people and work in a dynamic resort environment, we’d love to hear from you.
