Reporting to the In Room Dining Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly serviceMaintain a professional presentation at all timesEnsure guest satisfaction by adhering to service standards as specified for In Room DiningAssist employees as needed to ensure the best possible serviceEnsure all special events and amenities are properly presented in accordance with guest and hotel specifications and standardsMaintain established controls for stock with pars and ordersEnforce Security controls (keys, lockdown, etc.) to include control of beverage stockAssign side work and record attendanceInspect staff as to uniforms, cleanliness, identification, etc.Ensure a safe working environment for employeesSupervise all In Room Dining colleaguesOther duties as assignedWhat is in it for you:

Excellent communication skills. Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures. Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience in Room Service. Must have knowledge and understanding of Food & Beverage, incl. Wines and Liquors.Must have strong PC skills in meeting administrative requirements.Previous point of sale system experience required - Micros is an assetComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications requiredExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPhysical Demands
