Novotel & Adagio Premium Dubai Al Barsha is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of our facilities through high-quality painting services. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and a commitment to excellence.
Execute painting projects in various areas of the facility, including public spaces, guest rooms, and exterior surfacesPrepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as neededMix and match paint colors to achieve desired results and maintain consistency across projectsApply paint using brushes, rollers, and sprayers with precision and efficiencyPerform touch-ups and repairs on existing painted surfacesMaintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper care of painting tools and equipmentCollaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate painting schedules and minimize disruptionsAdhere to safety protocols and proper handling of painting materials and equipmentRespond promptly to painting-related requests and resolve issues in a timely mannerContribute to the development of innovative painting techniques and solutions to improve overall quality and efficiencyParticipate in regular maintenance checks to identify areas requiring touch-ups or repaintingAssist in inventory management of paint supplies and materials
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional painter, preferably in a hospitality or commercial settingProficiency in various painting techniques, including color mixing, application methods, and surface preparationExtensive knowledge of different paint types, finishes, and their appropriate usesExperience with timber treatments and specialty coating applicationsStrong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, consistent resultsPhysical ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periodsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentBasic understanding of safety procedures and proper handling of painting materialsFlexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as neededProficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plusPrevious experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous
