About this role
We are currently seeking full time and part time skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Pullman and Mercure Brisbane. As an experienced member of the kitchen team, you will play a significant role in supervising operational aspects of the kitchen and ensure food hygiene and safety procedures are followed.
Manage and coordinate activities within your assigned kitchen sectionEnsure efficient workflow and seamless coordination with other kitchen areasMaintain impeccable hygiene and kitchen standards in line with HACCP requirementsPrepare and cook dishes according to our menu specifications and quality standardsTrain and mentor junior kitchen staff, including apprentices and commis chefsAssist in menu development and implementation of new food conceptsCollaborate with the sous chef and executive chef to maintain kitchen efficiencyMonitor and control food waste, stock levels, and kitchen resourcesAdapt quickly to changing priorities during busy service periods. Previous experience in a similar role and environment.Trade qualifications in commercial cookery.Excellent technical knowledge with experience in all cooking techniques and styles.Excellent organisational skills & grooming standards.Genuine commitment to guest service, attention to detail and passionate about the IndustryPassionate about providing exceptional product and committed to undertake growth and development within the Pullman brand Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:
