We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Multi-Purpose Technician to join our team in Visakhapatnam, India. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment and systems across our facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely. You will work independently and collaboratively to address maintenance needs, perform preventive maintenance, and support the smooth operation of our organization.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systemsDiagnose equipment malfunctions using appropriate diagnostic tools and troubleshoot issues efficientlyExecute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifespanRespond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair callsMaintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performanceEnsure all work is completed in compliance with safety protocols and organizational standardsOperate and maintain various tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instrumentsCollaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate maintenance activitiesIdentify opportunities for process improvements and equipment optimizationMaintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations Proven experience in equipment maintenance, repair, or facility managementStrong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systemsProficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentSolid understanding of preventive maintenance principles and practicesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detailStrong organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and maintenance documentationKnowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environmentEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamRelevant technical certifications or licenses (preferred)Experience with equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting (preferred)
